Created in 2010 by members of the Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN), the Asexual Pride flag features four horizontal stripes that represent the diverse spectrum of asexuality and its community:

​Gray Stripe: Represents grey-asexuality (the space between sexuality and asexuality) and demisexuality (experiencing sexual attraction only after forming a deep emotional bond).

​White Stripe: Represents sexuality, non-asexual partners, and allies of the asexual community.
